Victor Lee Kubica
Victor Lee Kubica, born on the Fourth of July, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on July 22, 2025. A proud veteran and a steadfast family man, Vic lived his life with grit, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A retired Lance Corporal (E-3) in the United States Marine Corps, Vic embodied the toughness and discipline of a Marine long after his service ended. He was a man of few words but strong convictions, known for his hard exterior and soft heart when it came to his family.
Vic was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Razny Kubica; his son, Steven Kubica; and his parents, Victor Steven Kubica and Lee Ragona.
He is survived by his children: Renee Brockelmen (Lou), Victor Kubica, and Chris Kubica; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His legacy lives on in the strength and love of the family he cherished so deeply.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5-7 pm at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. A graveside service will be held on Saturday morning, July 26, 2025 at 10 am at Highland Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow.
Vic will be remembered as a tough guy with a loyal spirit—true to his roots, his service, and his family to the very end. Semper Fi.
