New Run and Obstacle Course Brings Challenge to Jackson Runners

JACKSON, Tenn. – Hundreds gathered in downtown Jackson this morning for the inaugural Rockabilly Riot Urban Challenge. The event benefited local first responders. The four and a half mile course started at The Lift Center and weaved through downtown and the fairgrounds, then back. Twelve obstacle challenges were scattered throughout the run and those challenges were symbolic of drills that are practiced in fire and police training. The event was an effort to bring visitors to the downtown Jackson area.
