Man Air Lifted Off 45 Bypass After Crash with Semi

JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson Police and The Jackson Fire department worked for more than an hour to safely remove a man trapped inside his car after crashing with a semi truck. Officers say the accident happened just after 7:30 Saturday night at the intersection of North Parkway and the 45 Bypass. A helicopter landed on the the Bypass, and air lifted the man to the Med in Memphis just after 9 p.m. Officers say the man was in critical condition. Investigators say the driver of the semi truck was okay after the wreck.
