Police Investigate Homicide on Daugherty Street

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police say they are investigating a homicide that happened on 504 Daugherty Street. It happened at 11:50 p.m. on Monday at East Pointe Apartments. Alexander Merriweather, 23, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Merriweather was sitting in a living room in the apartment complex, when shots were fired from outside and through a window.
