Bette Lisa Burchfield

Bette had an undeniable zest for life. She embraced the world with open arms and an open heart, always ready to help others and find joy in everyday moments. She especially loved the beauty and spirit of the West Coast, with a special fondness for the rugged charm of the Oregon Coast. Her deep love for animals—especially her beloved cats—was just one of the many ways she expressed her compassion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Auvern Ball, and her brother, Richard Ball.

Bette is survived by her daughter, Laura Tennyson, and her cherished grandchildren, Scott Lemon and his wife Arissa Lemmon, along with stepson Logan Lemmon; Stevie Herrington and her husband Jamie Herrington, and their daughter Lily Herrington; Tori Lemmon and her boyfriend Joey Shumate, Trevor Lemmon and his girlfriend Jessenica Manske, Kalen Lemmon and his fiancée Rey Orsolino; Sydney Lemmon and her boyfriend Hunter Shaw.

She is also survived by her siblings, Debi Longmire (Walter) and Tommy Ball, who will remember her with love and gratitude.

In honor of Bette’s wishes, the family will gather privately to celebrate her life. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
