Jackson Arts Council presents “Dinner on the Hotel Lawn”
JACKSON, Tenn.—A special gala is held in Jackson to support local arts.
The Jackson Arts Council presented its “Dinner on the Hotel Lawn” Saturday evening in Jackson.
The sold-out event took place at the Jackson Country Club beginning at 6:30 p.m. and continuing until 10.
The 20’s themed gala featured a fine dining experience complete with Hors d’oeuvres, designer cocktails and a unique signature drink.
Guests could enjoy live music from Jackson’s Hubtet or even take a stroll across the dancefloor.
There were special guest speakers and a fantastic auction of curated art.
“Tonight we are partying with a purpose. We are having a fundraiser to not only celebrate the arts but to raise money for the many different programs at the arts council. This is our first time and we’re looking forward to doing this every single year,” said Delita Johnson, Executive Director at Jackson Arts Council.
Proceeds from the night will go to support the Jackson Arts Council and organizers hope to make it an annual event.
