Thrive Wellness Expo takes place in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—An event in the Hub City aims to help community members discover new ways to stay healthy.
The Thrive Wellness Expo kicked off at 10 Saturday morning at the Madison Downs Event Center.
The expo had several representatives on site offering information on ways to access community resources and learn how to better manage overall health.
The event included information available from holistic wellness providers, meditation coaches, chiropractors, doulas, counselors and much more.
There were vendors on site offering all sorts of wellness products for purchase.
The event also had guest speakers including Ms. Woman Tennessee United States 2025, Heather Brooke.
Brooke, who is a licensed counselor and founder of My Pain His Purpose Ministries spoke on the importance of the mental health and self esteem of our local youth.
“Today, I’m here representing my business Heather Brooke LPC. I have a private practice here in Jackson, where I do psychotherapy and neurofeedback. I am also using my title to advocate for more affordable and accessible mental health services for our youth,” Brooke said.
The free event was hosted by 101.5 WNWS-FM News Talk Jackson, Hub City Doula, and What’s Happening Jackson, TN, LLC.
