Toyota Tennessee celebrates its Family Fun Day
JACKSON, Tenn.—One manufacturer celebrates its employees with a day of no work and all play!
Toyota Tennessee hosted its 2025 Family Fun Day Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The event took place at the facility located at 301 James Lawrence Road in Jackson.
Each year the plant shuts down its manufacturing for one day and invites all its employees and their families to have some fun.
At the event there were lots of games, a bounce house and rides for the kids, an employee car show and the opportunity to even tour the facility.
This year the event also included a friendly BBQ cook off between team members.
The BBQ contest was judged and awards presented to those with the highest marks.
“We’ve already been hearing team members saying this is the best event that they’ve ever been to. Toyota’s principle is about continuous improvement or kaizen. It’s always about getting better and better every single day,” said Jason Bates, Senior Manager of Human Resources, Toyota.
Toyota Tennessee hosts its Family Fun Day event every year for its employees and their families.
