Deliverance House of Prayer celebrates Faith and Family
DENMARK, Tenn.—One Madison County church hosts a weekend filled with worship and family fun.
Deliverance House of Prayer located at 101 Huntersville Demark Road celebrated its Faith and Family Weekend.
The two day event started Saturday with fun activities for the entire family. There was delicious food, cake walks, basketball tournaments, trivia, face painting and more.
Sunday, the event continued beginning at noon with a special service inviting the community to come and worship the Lord. Guests were asked to bring along friends and family members to join in the joyous time.
The special service included a special message from Bishop Nathaniel Bond, worship music and time spent together united as one big family praising the Lord.
There was also free food served following the message and a time for fellowship.
“Faith and Family Day is just our initiative to bring the community in, let them know about Christ and let them see. We just wanted to invite people in, in our community and just let them know that we’re here. We’re here for them. We love them. We wanted to just give them something fun,” said Courtney Boykin, church member.
