Local boutiques get in on Black Friday sales, prepare for Small Business Saturday

JACKSON, Tenn. — Local boutiques in the Hub City also joined in on the Black Friday sales and plan to have some amazing deals for Small Business Saturday.

Sassy Grace Southern Gent Boutique opened its doors early Friday morning to greet shoppers with their deals. The boutique sells women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, purses, and much more.

They started with 50% off your purchase from 8-9 a.m. and dropped down to 30% off at 10 in the morning through the rest of the day.

Owner Tamy Lewis says it warms her heart to have the community’s support.

“Well it means a lot, because retail has kind of taken a hit some this year, so it’s very good when everybody comes out and shows their support for you,” Lewis said.

The boutique will also be providing 20% off for Small Business Saturday.

Sage Boutique also had sales for Black Friday. The boutique sells women’s clothes, accessories, and more.

They handed out $30 gift cards for the store to the first 30 customers in line, while also having 30% off the entire store.

Owner Renea Cupples says she is thankful the community is supporting her business.

“Small business owners, we can’t do it without the local community, so we appreciate supporting our small businesses,” Cupples said.

Sage Boutique is offering 75% off to the first person in line on Saturday, and the store will be running sales all day.

Sassy Grace Southern Gent Boutique and Sage Boutique are both located on Union University Drive in Jackson.

Sassy Grace Southern Gent Boutique will be open from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon Saturday, and Sage Boutique will be open from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
