Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm continues holiday tradition of helping Deck the Halls
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.–It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm near Beech Bluff in east Madison County.
When you visit the farm, you can expect a wagon ride into the field to pick your tree, someone will cut it, shake the needles out, bail it, and get it to your car. All Christmas trees are all $8 a foot.
The farm provides two species of pine trees, Virginia and White Pine.
Inside the shop on site, visitors may purchase garland, or wreaths along with various Christmas accessories.
Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm also participates in the “Trees for Troops” program which sends Christmas trees to military families across the U.S.
“I think it’s just really special to see all of these families get our trees and take them home, then post on Facebook. My favorite posts of the year is seeing all their trees decorated. It’s just really a heartfelt thing and keeping something my dad started going is very special, said Emily Knight, co-owner of Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm.
“We offer complimentary hot chocolate and cider. We have some other concessions and we have a fire pit for you to warm up around if it’s a nice cold day like today,” said Sue Ward, co-founder of Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm.
