Century Farm Winery offers specials in support of RIFA

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local business has been partnering up with a nonprofit.

Century Farm Winery is partnering with RIFA to give customers a special deal while supporting a special cause.

Jenni Clawsing, the event coordinator, tells us how you can get involved.

“This year we partnered with RIFA to do some food donations for them,” Clawsing said. “You can bring in some shelf-stable items and get 10% off your purchase of wine.”

You can of course, purchase some of their wines at their location, but there are some other special items that they have.

“This year we’re going to do some little gift baskets that will include some wine and cheese and some of great jams and jellies that we have available,” Clawsing said. “We also have some retail items and snack items.”

If you have never been and want to make sure you get a bottle that you like, there is an easy way to do that.

“Anybody can come in and try our wines. We do sampling for five for $5 or 10 for $10. You can buy a glass or bottle. Definitely try some of our mulled wine that we have seasonally,” said Clawsing.

You also still have some time to get your food items to ensure your discount.

“The RIFA donations will end on Thursday, December 4. So make sure you come get your items in before then and get you 10% off.” Clawsing said.

These donations will go to RIFA’s Feeding America backpack program, so your donation goes to a great cause.

This is the first year for this special event.
