Jackson residents ring in the season with 2025 Christmas Parade

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s time for a recap from all the holiday fun in downtown Jackson Tuesday night.

The City of Jackson’s Christmas parade is a highly-anticipated holiday favorite in the Hub City. The theme this year is “Super Hero Christmas” connecting the community through Christmas.

“My favorite experience about this parade is all of the trucks and the cars. I’m excited to be at this lovely parade today,” said Harper Willow Newman, parade attendee.

Newman also tells us what’s she’s expecting from Santa this year.

“I’m expecting some arts supplies, some toys and yeah,” said Newman.

If you weren’t able to attend the Christmas parade here’s all you can expect at this holiday celebration.

“Expect a lot of cheerfulness, a lot of excitement around and a lot of joy. I haven’t been here seen I was little so it was real nice and everything. I wanted to see north side but I came a little late,” said Peyton Greer, parade attendee.

On Jackson resident tells us how nostalgic her experience was this year.

“It reminded me when I used to be in the parade dong majorette. I love the band and I love music. I love everybody’s spirit in the parade,” said Kemora Edgeston, parade attendee.

When we think about what’s most important during the holiday here’s what one parade attendee says is the most important to keep in mind.

“Spending time with family–my brother–because I have way too many but yeah spending time with family and Christmas has been most important,” said Hayley Tinin, parade attendee.

If you didn’t make it out to this year’s parade, there’s only one thing left to do next year.

“Come to the Christmas parade. It’s a super fun and nice experience. Merry Christmas!” said one parade attendee.

Businesses, and organizations participated in this year’s parade including marching bands, civic groups, dignitaries and even a visit from Old St. Nick himself.
