Educator of the Week: Brooke Britt
Brooke Britt is an algebra teacher at Lexington High School.

Britt was born and raised in Lexington and even graduated from the high school back in 1999.
Britt was nominated for Educator of the Week by the mother of one of her students.
Kimberly Prater shared how Britt “went above and beyond to help her daughter Raegan.”
Recently, Reagan was homebound due to an illness for most of the school year.
The mother said “Ms. Britt offered to help Reagan with her algebra homework during her free time at school for two hours.” “In my opinion, there isn’t many people who would give up their own free time to help someone else these days.”
Britt shared that she is grateful to all those who supported her though the year, especial parents that trusted her with their children.
Britt is now eligible for the Tennessee Education Lottery Educator of the Month award.
