Pastor Wayne Harris Smith, Pastor of Pilgrim Rest in Jackson, TN, aged 70, formerly of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at Jackson General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, at Pilgrim Rest M.B.C., in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, with a viewing from 12:00pm until time of service at 1:00pm at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association Tabernacle, located at 6378 Pulaski Pike NW in Huntsville, AL 35810. Burial will follow in Strong Family Cemetery.
