Drive thru nativity held at New St. Luke MB Church
JACKSON, Tenn.—One local church offers the chance to experience the true meaning of Christmas.
New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church located in Jackson is hosting a live nativity.
Guests can drive through the nativity located at at 1670 North Royal Street. Members in costume will represent the scene of the birth of Jesus on Christmas Eve.
There is a petting zoo for the kids and visitors can also enjoy refreshments at the event including popcorn and hot cocoa.
“We’re out in order to help the public understand that Jesus is the reason for the season. I’m sure that the kids would enjoy it. We would love to see the kids come through and see the petting zoo and everything that’s going on,” said Rickey Hutch, Event organizer.
If you missed out on Saturday’s event, there is a second opportunity Sunday night from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
