End-of-year holiday deals in the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — The holiday deals are not over yet and many stores in Jackson are having sales.

Friday we spoke with shoppers about these sales and if they are looking for anything specific. Academy Sports and Outdoors is having their “big year-end sale.”

The deals at academy include up to 50 percent off fleece, 40% of Magellan outdoor boots and slippers, 35% off end-of-season hunting gear, and 30% off end-of-season baseball, softball, and t-ball gear.

A shopper outside of Academy says he is trying to find the best deals.

“I’m out here at Academy today doing some after Christmas shopping with my friends and family. I’m trying to get a couple of fishing poles and maybe a canoe,” said Andrew Spears, shopper.

Sephora inside Kohl’s is having a sale that includes an extra 20% off sale items.

Shoppers Kennedy Wood and Marcy Pinson have been eyeing holiday gift sets and they were excited that these items went on sale.

“I know that they have a couple of gift sets that I wanted that are going to be on sale,” said Wood.

Both Academy and Sephora’s sale are valid in store and online. Academy’s sale lasts from Friday until January 4 and Sephora’s extra 20% off sale items end January 1.
