Rusty’s TV & Movie Car Museum offers unique look at movie classics

JACKSON, Tenn. — Looking to get out of the house? If you’re a fan of classic films and classic cars we have just the activity for you.

Rusty’s TV & Movie Car Museum has an ever expanding collection of over 50 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

“People? So they would come up there, they would meet me, I’d tell them information about the place, they’d come through here, they’re free to take all the pictures they want, we’ve even got a Barbie box of there that they can take a picture in, they just cant tough any of the cars, pictures are allowed, just please don’t touch any of the cars, that’s the only rule we have,” said Gabe Singleton, clerk and tour guide.

Rusty Robinson, the owner, has been collecting cars for over 24 years and he started when he was just 14. Some of the cars featured were the originals seen on screen, and those cars can only be found at Rusty’s.

“So my favorite cars? So my favorite cars would have to be the breaking bad car, I watched that, it’s right over here to my right, and I watched that show, probably about a couple years ago. I like Lighting McQueen, that’s right behind me over here, grew up watching that and I really love the skyline from fast and furious four,” said Singleton.

The exhibit is wheelchair accessible and open to families of all ages that can enjoy famous relics from hit classics. Rusty’s is open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museum is located at 323 Hollywood Drive near the corner of Williams Street.
