JACOA prepares to ring in the new year with a safe and sober celebration
JACKSON, Tenn.–The Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency also known as JACOA, hosted its New Year’s Eve party Wednesday evening.
Residents were invited for a night of laughter, connection, and celebration to ring in the new year. Some activities included karaoke, games, and plenty of food to go around…providing a safe and sober space for the community.
“We are going to do some karaoke, play some board games, and maybe later tonight shoot some firecrackers. Look forward into going into a new year to serve many more clients,” said Kathryn Webb, women’s counselor with JACOA.
The event was meant for anyone who wanted to be surrounded by friends who walk the same path.
