Shiloh National Military Park seeks volunteers for “Wreaths Out”

Shiloh National Military Park seeks volunteers to assist with the removal of wreaths. The park participated in the Wreaths Across America ceremony which takes place annually and could now use a hand in removing them.

Shiloh National Military Park Announces 2026 “Wreaths Out” Volunteer Event

SHILOH, Tennessee – Shiloh National Military Park is pleased to announce its annual Wreaths Out event, scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Shiloh National Cemetery.

The public is invited to assist park staff in removing wreaths that were placed during the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. This volunteer effort helps respectfully conclude the remembrance season while ensuring the cemetery remains a dignified resting place for America’s veterans.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until all wreaths have been removed.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves to assist with handling the wreaths. No pre-registration is required—participants may simply arrive at the Shiloh National Cemetery at the start time.
