Local dog owners plead for return of missing ‘Pattycake’
JACKSON, Tenn.– Local dog owners are asking for help locating their lost pet.
It’s is a story we don’t normally cover, but because of the unusual circumstances and the reward being offered, we’ve decided to..
Mark Benton of Germantown reached out to us about his missing dog named Pattycake.
He tells us Pattycake, a 7-year-old Shih-Tzu got loose from a backyard in the LANA neighborhood while visiting Jackson during Christmas.
Benton says they have searched the area for Pattycake. In fact, people from all over have canvassed neighborhoods searching for her.
All he wants is to have Pattycake come home.
“I don’t think she was, she was kidnapped. I think she’s been taken by a loving family, I hope that loves, that has goodness in their heart and when they see this, they will, call us to let us know because we’re just, we’re just broken,” says Benton.
Benton says he’s offering a $2,000 reward for the safe return of Pattycake.
He says she has been microchipped, which means she can be identified by scanning the chip at any veterinarian’s office…
