Martin road crews working to maintain streets
MARTIN, Tenn. – The City of Martin road crews have been working to maintain the city’s streets Saturday.
The city posted a photos of the crew and encouraged residents to limit travel to only what is necessary and do not park vehicles on the streets.
City of Martin Public Works crews will be out this afternoon doing their best to maintain city streets as conditions allow.TDOT crews are also plowing this afternoon on the main travel routes they maintain within the city. These are Hwy 45, Hwy 22, and Hwy 43 which include Lindell Street, University Street, Elm Street, and Main Street.
City of Martin Public Works crews will start focusing on our section of Skyhawk Parkway, the emergency response routes, and then working into major traffic flow areas.
Please keep this in mindLimit travel during active winter weather if possible
Park vehicles in driveways or parking lots, not on streets
Keeping streets clear helps plows and emergency responders do their jobs safely
