Selmer Utility provides water restoration and bottled water update
SELMER, Tenn. – The Selmer Utility Department (SUD) provided an update on their water restoration efforts and availability of bottled water.
Selmer Utility Division customers — we’re making progress, but it’s slow!
Silerton: Pressures still too low to fully restart the pump station… BUT we’re hearing good reports of water coming back closer to the station! Hang in there.
Pebble Hill: Power is BACK on at the booster stationNow just waiting for pressure to build up.
Guys / Chewalla / Ramer: Pressures are returning in SOME spots — not everywhere yet. Keep checking your faucets!
IMPORTANT: Watch for busted lines or leaks as pressure rises (frozen pipes are bursting everywhere). If you spot one, or if your water comes back on — please call it in so crews can respond fast!
Bottled Water:We have cases available NOW at our main office:
500 Peach St., Selmer
Can’t make it? We’re delivering when we can — call to request!
