Local departments work together to extinguish structure fire
HORNSBY, Tenn. — The Hornsby Fire Department assisted the Chester County and Silerton Fire Department on a fully-involved structure fire Thursday.
The Hornsby Fire Department was paged to assist around 12pm and it took all three departments to fully extinguish the fire.
According to the HFD, the structure was not able to be saved, however there thankfully no injuries reported.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames for five hours in the cold temperatures.
