Some Jackson residents enjoy the icy conditions
JACKSON, Tenn.—Despite the frigid temperatures, residents spend some time enjoying the ice and snow.
Several people could be seen sledding down the hills outside Rockabilly’s Stadium Saturday.
The ice combined with the steep hills made the perfect environment for fun.
And the sledding wasn’t just for the kids; adults of various ages took turns sliding down the hills as well.
Some residents even made it a family event.
“We’ve been coming over to this for several years now. This week we started Monday. We sled here and over by our house, as well along with some other places too,” said Dan Squyres, Jackson resident.
The ice doesn’t appear to be going away just yet, so there’s still time to enjoy some winter weather activities.
