Paris retail center brings new businesses to West Tennessee

PARIS, Tenn. — The city of Paris will welcome several new businesses this year with the opening of the Paris Crossings retail center.

The new shopping center will include Hobby Lobby, Ulta, Aldi and Bath & Body Works, according to Caleb Grissom, executive director of the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

“We’ve got Hobby Lobby coming, Ulta, Aldi, Bath & Body Works. There are several businesses there that we are so excited to add to our vibrant community,” Grissom said.

Downtown businesses expected to benefit

The chamber expects the new retail center to drive growth for existing small businesses in downtown Paris.

“More people will be coming because of those bigger businesses to then go and find our small businesses downtown that really make Paris shine,” Grissom said.

The chamber plans to continue attracting new businesses by engaging directly with potential partners, Grissom said.

“We just really get in and meet them and just show them the benefits of being involved in your local community,” he said.

The chamber has several events planned for later this year. The Tennessee River Jam will return to downtown Paris in June and will feature several musical artists.
