Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. present Go Red for the Heart and Soul Luncheon
JACKSON, Tenn,—One organization goes red for the return of a special event.
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. presented its Lady Annie Ruth Rogers Go Red for the Heart and Soul Luncheon Saturday.
The event kicked off at 11:30 a.m. at the New St. Luke Activity Center located at 51 Lawrence Switch Road in Jackson.
Along with a special meal, this year’s event included a recognition service for Outstanding Top Teen and Mr. and Mrs. Top Teens, a special tribute to Heart Survivors in Fashion, and entertainment provided by Mr. Emile Kerr. This Year’s Top Lady recognized was Lady Brenda Locke and the 2026 Chapter’s Senior Diva is Lady Pamela Springfield.
The event also included a silent auction as well as the chance to win door prizes.
“We do clean up in the city for beautification, we visit our senior citizens, and we also love to just give. We donate to RIFA. That’s just one of the things that we do that makes us feel good, but it’s also just the right thing to do,” said Margaret Adams, Chapter President for Jackson.
The luncheon is an important part of the organization’s mission to service youth and adults in the area. The group host the event every year during February’s Heart Month to spread awareness and educate others about heart disease.
