Jackson Police Department locates missing person; suspect in custody

JACKSON, Tenn. – The remains of a missing 23-year-old man have been located and a suspect is in custody, according to Jackson Police Department.

The Jackson Police Department initiated a search for 23-year-old Hayden Blair on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

As part of the investigation, members of the Special Victims Unit interviewed Mr. Blair’s girlfriend, Tationa Williams. Information obtained during that interview led investigators to a residence in the 90 block of Southside Drive in Jackson, where evidence consistent with a shooting was discovered.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, information was provided that led investigators to the 1100 block of Howard Road in Chester County, where a body was located in a shallow grave. The remains have been tentatively identified as Hayden Blair.

Mr. Blair was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to confirm his identity and determine the official cause and manner of death.

Williams is currently being held at the Jackson Madison County Criminal Justice Complex. She is expected to be formally charged on Thursday.
