Children sleepwear recalled for potential burn risk
(Gray News) – More than 200,000 children sleepwear have been recalled because of a burn risk.
Meijer is recalling 211,520 one-piece, footed children’s sleepwear, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recall alert said the sleepwear violates the commission’s “mandatory flammability standard,” posing a burn risk to children.
About 10 different styles of MCS- and Lullaby Lane-branded sleepwear of 12-, 18- and 24-month sizes are impacted by the recall.
According to the commission, the brand, size and “Made in Thailand” are printed on the neck of the garment. The style number is found on a sewn-in tag on the inside of the garment.
The garments were sold in Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky from December 2024 through October 2025.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the recall.
Consumers are advised to stop using the garments and return them to a Meijer store for a full refund.
