Sen. Ed Jackson honored at Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner
JACKSON, Tenn. — Many gathered for an inspiring evening in support of the West Tennessee Area Council, Scouting America.
The Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner is a celebration of the impact scouting has on the lives of youth and families across West Tennessee.
This event provides an opportunity to hear success stories, honor community leaders, and rally support to ensure the continued growth of scouting programs in the area.
Thursday, the Distinguised Citizen Award honored Senator Ed Jackson.
“Tonight we’re honoring Senator Ed Jackson. Like we all know, he has been a force in the community and has done a lot of things. This is well deserved,” shared Morio Snelling, Scouting Executive and CEO of West TN area council of Boy Scouts of America.
This event directly benefits local scouts, helping to build the next generation of leaders.
