What’s New Wednesday: New 2 U Ride

SELMER, Tenn.–New 2 U Rides in Selmer is a body shop that recently opened..specializing in tints, wraps, PPF or protective paint film, ceramic coating, and much more.

The owner Chas Richard has a history in detailing and decided to start his business after his son took an interest in car cosmetics.
Richard tells us why it was important to open New 2 U Rides in the Selmer community.

“No one really around here is offering what we’re offering now. You got a few competitors in surrounding towns. but we’re it, we’re what you have,”
said Richard.

Richard also said he started the business to bring big city quality to a small town like Selmer while keeping prices down for all customers.
He says Selmer was the perfect location because of it’s proximity to surrounding towns such as Henderson, Savannah, Corinth, and Jackson.
He tells us about a ceramic sealant he says is one of their most popular items.

“They really enjoy the C2 ceramic because the C2 ceramic here you get a of heat protection, protects the interior of your car. In the summertime you can feel the difference. and with the C2 ceramic you can see out, it gives you a much clearer look from the inside of the car, a much better view,” adds Richard.

New 2 U Rides is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
They also work Saturdays by appointment only.

“We are fair and honest. Our prices are very good. We do quality work and we have the correct tools to do the job all for a lifetime warranty for all of my work as long as you own the vehicle, ” said Richard.
