What’s New Wednesday: Better Health Family Clinic

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — A new clinic is bringing critical health needs to one local community.

Better Health Family Clinic in Dyersburg opened back in February. They are a full-service family practice clinic.

They offer in-house mental health services, women’s health and hormone replacement therapy, preventative health, chronic disease management and more.

Co-owner Celecia Osborne tells us more about what the clinic offer.

“We are available for patients to come in via appointment or walk-in.  We have access to 2 nurse practitioners that are going to offer primary care, medication refills, they can do referrals to specialists,” said Osborne.

The clinic is open Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., they are also open on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic is located on 305 East Tickle Street in Dyersburg.

They tell us what inspired them to start better health family clinic.

“We wanted to just offer compassionate options for people in the dyer county and surrounding West Tennessee area,” said Osborne.

“And really the mental health services I feel like we really need that in our area in northwest Tennessee.  And so that was really important to both of us to be able to offer that here,” said CEO Rita Hollingsworth.

They also shared how they plan to grow the business so they can provide even more for the community.

“We would love to expand in the area, we’re small and humble beginnings but we’re open to people coming in and we would love to see that growth and opportunity as it presents itself,” said Osborne.
