JMCGH honors organ donors, recipients with ceremony
JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) – Jackson-Madison County General Hospital held a ceremony to honor organ donors and their recipients.

During April, the hospital honors organ donors who have given the gift of life and those whose lives have been saved.

During the ceremony, guests paid tribute to their loved ones by leaving messages on wooden birds that were placed on a memorial tree.
“This flag raising is an opportunity to not only bring awareness to donation, but its also to acknowledge those individuals that have said yes to donation and provided lifesaving gifts, but also those who have received the gift and have a second chance at life,” said Deana Clapper, COO of Tennessee Donor Services.
