Weather Update: Monday, April 20 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. A cool, but seasonable start to the morning with temps in the 40s. There were a few isolated pockets that dipped briefly into the upper 30s. A fairly nice and normal mid-April day is on the way with plenty of sunshine. Aloft there is a broad upper trough over much of the eastern US. The base of the rough is over the Purchase Region of West Kentucky. There is weak surface reflection in the form of a dry backdoor cold front. It has no moisture to work with, therefore no precipitation for anyone. There may be a few clouds north, but otherwise expect wall-to-wall sunshine with temps climbing through the 50s and 60s. High temp will be seasonable around 74-76°F.
