Jimmy Naifeh Center to host artist reception for Leatha Frost
Covington, Tenn. – Dyersburg State Community College’s Jimmy Naifeh Center will display the artwork of Leatha Frost through June 30, 2026, with an artist’s reception on April 30, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ripley Power & Light lobby of the Learning Resource Center.
Dyersburg State Community College, the Jimmy Naifeh Center, the Tipton Art League, and Liberty Vintage Marketplace and Studio in Covington sponsor the exhibit.
Frost, a nationally renowned artist, relishes painting colorful abstracts in her studio in Jackson, Tennessee. She rarely has the finished painting in mind before she starts; instead, she finds each painting to be an exhilarating journey, led by tranquility and color harmony. Many of her paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and abroad.
Frost was honored to be selected as the featured artist for the Brentwood Academy Fine Art Show in Nashville and the David Lipscomb Fine Art Show in Memphis.
Leatha Frost, the staff at Dyersburg State Community College, members of the Tipton Art League, and Lisa Keith of Liberty Vintage Marketplace and Studio will welcome the public at the Artists’ Reception on April 30, where refreshments will be served.
