Freed-Hardeman University rummage sale supports student scholarships

HENDERSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) – The Freed-Hardeman University Associates rummage sale is now open, and there are some treasures awaiting your arrival.

You can stop by the national guard armory in Henderson now through Saturday, April 25th, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the evening to support the FHU Associates and the scholarships they offer students.

“We love the opportunity to serve both our student population at Freed-Hardeman, but also our general community. We love seeing their faces. We love being able to offer this service to the community as well as raising money for scholarships,” said Debbie McLaughlin, executive coordinator for FHU Associates.

Saturday will be the bag day sale. During that event, you can fill a 13-gallon bag for $5 or a 30-gallon bag for $10.
