Crash Injures Moped Driver

JACKSON, Tenn.- A man is recovering after he crashed his moped Wednesday afternoon near downtown Jackson and briefly lost consciousness. It happened at the intersection of Johnson Street and Airways Boulevard around 3 p.m. Officers said the man was traveling west on Airways when he laid down his moped out of fear of a car pulling out in front of him. Police said his injuries were minor. He was taken by ambulance from the scene.
