Deputies Investigate Sunday Night Hit and Run
SOUTH MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies are investigating a hit and run that occurred at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Boone Lane shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday. The victim was identified as John Dillman, 36. Dillman was riding his bicycle north bound on Riverside Drive. Upon approaching Boone Lane, Dillman was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene of the accident. He was unable to give a description of the vehicle. Dillman sustained a broken leg and hip as a result of the accident. He was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital by ambulance and was later transported to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.
