Man Charged with Kidnapping After Forcing Girlfriend Into Car

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Humboldt Officers have arrested a man for an alleged kidnapping on Viking Drive in Humboldt. On Wednesday at around 5:10 p.m., William Paul Mount, 51, reportedly forced his girlfriend into his vehicle and fled the scene. Mount, of Cedar Grove, has been charged with Kidnapping, Domestic Assault & Reckless Endangerment and is being held at the Gibson County Correctional facility on a $75,000 bond.
