EAST JACKSON — The money has been counted and the final numbers are in after the Salvation Army holiday donations came to an end for 2013. The total amount of money that the Salvation Army bell ringers collected last year was $154,982.86, which is $3,228 more than 2012. In mid-December they were $20,000 behind, but donor’s generosity kicked-in the last two weeks before Christmas. There was even one $10,000 donation.
