Man Accused in Jackson Barber Shop Shooting Appears in Court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The man arrested in connection with a December deadly shooting outside an east Jackson barber shop appeared in court, Thursday. Moriarco Lee, 21, was in court for a preliminary hearing, Thursday. His case was waived to the Circuit Court. Investigators believe Lee opened fire on the 20-year-old victim last week but have not given a possible motive. The victim remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Lee’s next appearance is tentatively set for April 7th. His bond remains at $400,000.
