22-Year-Old Killed in Early Morning Car Crash

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was killed early Sunday morning after a car accident in Toone. Madrikus Hunt, 22 of Bolivar, was killed in a single car crash on State Highway 100. Hunt was traveling west on State Highway 100 at the Eighteen Loop when he ran off the roadway, went airborne and came down “nose” first and struck a utility pole. Hunt was ejected from the vehicle and was later pronounced dead at the scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, and the responding officer said that the use of a seat belt may have made a difference.
