SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Two men were arrested after police say they attacked a man at gunpoint and stole his cell phone, Monday. Timothy O’Ryan Davis, 18, was arrested in connection to the robbery, along with a 16-year-old juvenile. The victim says he was approached by two black males Monday at 1:30 a.m. while walking home from the Savannah Village Apartments. They reportedly asked him what he was carrying in his backpack and when he refused to give the backpack up, he was hit in the left eye, which knocked him to the ground. The victim put up a fight. The juvenile then pointed a gun at his chest, before moving it to his head and counting down. The victim still refused to give up the backpack. The suspects then reportedly hit him with the pistol and took off with his cell phone. Davis also had a warrant out in McNairy County and is being held at the Hardin County Jail awaiting arraignment. The juvenile also had a warrant out, and was released to state custody. He will be in court on Jan. 23.
