Businesses Hiring for Holiday Season

JACKSON, Tenn.- If you think you will need extra cash for the holidays, experts say the time to start looking for seasonal jobs is now. This is expected to be the best year for holiday hiring in five years nationwide. Locally, businesses are already looking for temporary help. Walmart is taking applications and will start hiring in October. Target began hiring this week and Ulta Beauty in The Columns has already hired some holiday workers, and will continue to hire more. Express Employment Owner Ronnie Morris said this could be a golden opportunity to turn a part time job into full time. “Being on time, work hard, and distinguish yourself on the job. And then ask if there are gonna be any full time opportunities once the holidays are over,” said Morris. He also said to make sure your hours are flexible as well as what type of work your willing to do to snag a job fastest.
