Explosion under investigation in Wilson County
LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) – Federal and local officials are investigating an explosion at a residence in Middle Tennessee.
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesman Michael Knight said officials were securing the scene Monday night to make sure there were no additional explosives. He says investigators haven’t determined whether the blast was inside or just outside the residence.
He said he could not confirm whether there were injuries.
A dispatcher at the Wilson County sheriff’s office said she had no information to release. The dispatcher at the county Emergency Management Agency also couldn’t confirm whether there were injuries.
