Humboldt Police Arrest Woman Accused of Stabbing

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A woman was arrested and charged after police say she stabbed another woman in the head, early Friday morning. Carla Marie Shutes, 40, of Humboldt has been charged with Aggravated Assault after officers responded to Fort Hill Circle and Brown Street, where they found a female who suffered a stab wound to the head. The victim was transported to Jackson Madison County General Hospital where she was treated and released.
