Slight Chance for Rain Tonight and Tomorrow
Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. – Thursday, April 2nd
Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to show up in Arkansas and Missouri and are heading in this direction. However, high pressure nearby may keep our weather dry for now. We only have a slight chance for scattered showers tonight and tomorrow but the chance for rain increases this weekend.
TONIGHT
After a beautiful sunny day, skies will gradually get cloudier overnight. There’s a slight chance for rain including isolated showers especially near the Mississippi River. Temperatures will drop to the upper 40s at the coolest point of the night with light winds.
A stray shower is possible tomorrow but the chance for rain is low overall. Temperatures will warm up to the lower 70s Friday afternoon under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms become a little bit more likely on Saturday, but if thunderstorms develop, the risk for severe weather is low. We’ll keep temperatures away from the 30s for a while, it’s possible our last frost or freeze of Spring have already occurred but on average our last frost isn’t until April 12th.
