Quite Mild With Storms Later

Weather Update: Tuesday, April 7 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. We start this morning on a much more mild note as temps never dropped out of the 60s. We will see overall more clouds today, but temps will still climb quickly through the 60s and 70s. There is a strong jet overhead today, which will help with the development of some convection this afternoon. There is not a defined boundary in the area, but given the strong progressive jet aloft, there could be a few isolated to widely scattered storms. The storms will mainly dot the area during the warmest part of the day. Heavy rain and lightning will be the main threat today.
