Police Search for Suspects Wanted in Dollar General Armed Robbery

EAST JACKSON — Jackson police are looking for suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery of the Dollar General Store along Campbell Street in east Jackson, Wednesday night. Investigators on the scene said they were looking for three men who entered the store just before 10 p.m., armed and wearing bandanas on their faces. An employee was injured but not as a result of gunfire. The suspects were last seen running from the store with an undetermined amount of cash. Several officers and a K-9 were called in to search the area behind the store. During their search, a stray dog charged the K-9 and officers shot that dog.
