Madison County correctional officer indicted, suspended without pay

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Madison County correctional officer was indicted for Insurance Fraud and Theft of Property on Monday. The Madison County Grand Jury issued an indictment against Saundra D. Bundy, 47. Bundy was suspended without pay pending the outcome of the indictment. On May 9, Deputy Bundy reported she was injured while on the job. The investigation revealed her claim was false and did not occur while she was on duty. She will appear for arraignment on July 7, at 8:30 a.m. in Madison County Circuit Court, Division I. She is being held without bond. Officer Bundy has been employed with the Madison County Sheriff‘s Office as a correctional officer since August 25, 2008.
